The NGA Board of Governors is discussing the prospect of renaming the Ralph Guldahl Memorial trophy in honor of three-time TPC champion Coree Raden.
“The question is not will we rename it, but when.” stated an unnamed NGA board member. “Raden has dominated the TPC. He is always 50/50 bet to win, as long as he is able to finish the tournament.”
Raden has participated in 10 TPC’s, winning three of them (2001, 2002, 2006). His finishing position in non-victories is 4, 3, 7, 6 and 6. He has DQ’ed twice; 1997 (Clifton family funeral) and 1999 (huddling with Eric).
When the name change will take place is still in question, but soon enough the NGA’s most important trophy will honor two greats of the game!
