Remembering E-Dog

NGAWire® | 12Jan13

The NGA lost one of its own yesterday, with the passing of Eric Fournier.

We first met E-Dog at the 1999 TPC, and he continued to be a mainstay at events through 2006.

Always armed with his laughter, Eric was a great guy to be around. His light hearted nature made him a friend to everyone he met.

We will always remember E-Dog for the love of his Toney Penna driver and 3-wood (long after it was acceptable to play persimmon clubs), his saying of “take me to my ball” and “you guys”, and his passion of Bud Light.

Each of us has a different memory of Eric, a true sign of the mark he left.

FOURNIER ERIC F., age 54, died January 11, 2013. Loving son of Donna and the late Ron Fournier. Dearest brother of Scott (Erin), Dean (Nadine), Nancy (Tom) Reuter and Amy (Rick) Zaitonia. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 3-9 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St Clair Shores. Funeral Friday 10 am at the funeral home.
